    • 3D Modelling & Visualisation

3D modelling and visualisation is hugely beneficial to a multitude of industrial sectors and professions.

From the initial project design phase through to the completion stages, it can be used to demonstrate the benefits of the project to stakeholders and investors, provide input to the planning process, track project progression and provide valuable data for Building Information Models (BIM), GIS and other professional platforms

Utilising Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), and the latest mapping software we can create accurate 3D models of your existing site and surrounding area. This model can then be used to extract contour maps, survey-grade orthomosaics site plans or an accurate 3D model imported into your preferred modeling software that you can use as a base for your concept models, renderings, 3D printing, detailed visualisations for new designs or as-built surveys of buildings, land and civil structures.

Some of the advantages of this technology are:

        • Support for planning applications
        • Enables project visualisation for stakeholders, potential investors and end users
        • Document and monitor construction sites as they progress for project updates
        • It can make a great marketing tool - see the fly-through video at the bottom of the page

Nevis Range Mountain Resort World Cup Downhill Course - The course had to be mapped in 6 sections as it drops around 555m over it's 2,8km length.

Nevis Range Mountain Resort Bottom Station - Mapped early in the morning on a sunny cloudless day - almost the exact opposite of what you need for mapping, which is an overcast day at noon, which reduces shadows and the cloud acts as a natural defuser.

Nigg Bay in Aberdeen, at the site of the planned £350 million pound harbour expansion project due to commence in the spring of 2017.

Tarlair Swimming Pool opened in 1931 at the base of a sea cliff just outside Macduff in Aberdeenshire.

The complex is now in some disrepair and a community group "Friends of Tarlair " has been formed and is working with Aberdeenshire Council to try to find a way forward for the site as a community facility.
