Dunnottar Castle (Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Fhoithear, "fort on the shelving slope") is a ruined medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of Stonehaven.

A beautiful luxury home, with an exceptional interior, in a stunning setting.......what more could you ask for! We produced this demo video for Churchill Homes (Aberdeen) Ltd. to introduce Rise Above Aerial Cinematography and to showcase the use of aerial video in property marketing videos. It was essentially a quick demo but the people at Churchill were so delighted with the result that they took it as it was and commissioned us for their exclusive development at Milltimber.

SUMMER AT NEWHILLS MANSE, NEWHILLS, ABERDEEN

Filmed during the summer, into the early evening when the sun was disappearing behind the trees, the colours on this shoot were fantastic, ending with a stunning shot rising above the trees to a view of the rolling hills, blue sky and sun. Some beautiful natural sun flares, with a little gold dust added in a couple of shots in the garden to add to the atmosphere.

COLLIESTON, ABERDEENSHIRE

A beautiful cinematic video of a beautiful place. Collieston is a small former fishing village on the North Sea coast in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The village lies just north of the Sands of Forvie Special Protection Area, between Cruden Bay and Newburgh. Filmed on a sunny January morning with frost still on the ground.

AUDI B7 RS4, TORRY BATTERY, ABERDEEN

Filmed on a beautiful Sunday morning, close to the Torry artillery battery in Aberdeen. The Audi B7 RS4 is a naturally aspirated 4,2l V8 performance saloon and won World Performance Car of the Year when it was released. The fact that you see the drone reflected in the car enhances the mood of the sequence.

ABERDEENSHIRE SHOWREEL

A short showreel filmed in and around Aberdeenshire; at the entrance to Aberdeen Harbour, Dunnottar Castle, Stonehaven Harbour and the Manse at Newhills. The video was edited in Motion 5 and an ink in water effect was used for the transitions.
